WW2 British army issue No4 MkII Pig Sticker bayonet to fit the No4 service rifle by Long Branch of Canada.

£40

WW2 British army issue No4 MkII Pig Sticker bayonet to fit the No4 service rifle by Long Branch of Canada in its Mk1 steel scabbard. The boss stamped to the left side No4 MkII over combined LB issue mark for the Long Branch Government factory in Canada. In its regulation pattern Mk1 blued steel scabbard. Regulation British WW2 issue bayonet, the No4 was little more than a screw driver blade welded onto a boss that fitted over the barrel of the rifle, but it worked well enough although unlike the more conventional knife bayonets it could not be used as a fighting knife. In good condition with much original blue to the boss and scabbard with working catch in its correct Mk1 steel scabbard.
