WW2 British army issue No4 MkII* Pig Sticker bayonet to fit the No4 service rifle by Prince-Smith & Stells of Keighley, Yorkshire in scabbard. The boss stamped to the left side No4 MkII* over P.S.K. the trade mark of Prince-Smith & Stells. Welded spike pig sticker blade. In its black painted regulation issue Mk1 steel scabbard. Regulation British WW2 issue bayonet, the No4 was little more than a screw driver blade welded onto a boss that fitted over the barrel of the rifle, but it worked well enough although unlike the more conventional knife bayonets it could not be used as a fighting knife. Prince-Smith and & Stells of Keighly Yorkshire manufactured MkII* bayonets from 1942 until 1945.
