Spanish M1943 Mauser bayonet in steel scabbard. Hilt with bolt retained wooden scales has release catch to the right side and is stamped P.R.8 and 816 to either side of the cross guard. Blued fullered spear point blade. In its blued steel scabbard with frog stud to one side. Manufactured to the basic German issue pattern for use on the Spanish Model 1944 Mauser Standard Model short rifles these bayonets were, like the German equivalents a well-designed and practical weapon. In good condition with clean blade and clear Spanish issue military markings in a good scabbard.
