A pair of WW1 era Ross prismatic binoculars in case. Black leather covered bodies of ross design with independently focusable eye pieces, the makers name and serial number apparently removed at some point in their working life. In the makers brown leather, red baize lined case signed to the inside of the lid ROSS Ltd, 111 NEW BOND STREET AND 31 COCKSPUR St LONDON. The closing strap missing with a previous owner’s name written on the base of the case. In good working order with clear optics which would benefit from a proper internal clean, small chip in the eyepiece of the RH ocular.
