A cased pair of WW2 era No5 MkIV binoculars by Ross of London. Standard army pattern introduced in 1937 and still on issue in the early 1970’s marked to the rear RL for manufacture by Ross of London and BINO PRISM No5 MkIV 7X with ranging graticule and independently focusable eye pieces. In their correct 1942 dated carry case (strap absent) by BH&G Ltd marked BINOCULAR PRISMATIC No5 CASE Mk1. In good condition with sharp clear image and graticule, some paint losses to the outside from long service use in a good case with all intact stitching (one strap loop absent). A nice pair of issue binoculars in their original case which saw service through 4 years of WW2 and probably well into the years of the cold war after that.
