A nice plain bag shaped Victorian powder flask for a rifle or shotgun by James Dixon approx 7 ½” overall length. Heavy gauge plain bag shaped body with screw retained collar. The top with an adjustable nozzle graduated for 2 ¼ to 3 drams of black powder is engraved JAMES DIXON & SONS SHEFFIELD. In Good condition with working shutter / spring and nozzle with nice clean bag.
