Victorian James Dixon embossed powder flask for a rifle or shotgun approx 7 ¼” overall length. Flat sided bag shaped body with sun burst / leaf embossing to both sides. Top with spring operated shutter is signed JAMES DIXON & SONS SHEFFIELD with adjustable nozzle gradated from 2 ¼ to 3 drams of black powder. In good condition with working shutter and nozzle.
