An Ordnance issue Victorian bandsman’s sword by Mole. Ornate brass grip of regulation pattern with impressed VR monogram to both sides, Ordnance inspection marks to the hilt on one side and issue mark 35 over 14 to the other. Straight edged pointed blade of bandsman’s pattern is struck at the top with an Ordnance inspection mark and manufacturers mark MOLE. A nice regulation ordnance issue sword of the classic pattern carried by the bandsmen of Victoria’s army. In good condition with good blade and clear ordnance inspection marks.
